A homeowner struggled with a dirty, under-insulated attic. Primary Home Improvements extracted all of the degraded rolled fiberglass as well as any extra debris. Extraction is important before re-insulating because it will help regulate temperatures, prevent moisture build-up and improve the air quality.
In order to increase energy-efficiency and comfortability in this Lyndhurst home, Primary Home Improvements installed TruSoft cellulose. TruSoft is a densely packed, blown-in product that will not settle like traditional brands and is mold resistant!
This old fiberglass insulation was in need of being replaced. We removed the fiberglass, air sealed the attic plane, and installed TruSoft Cellulose. Conditioned air is now kept in the home instead of flowing out of the house through the attic. This attic is now much more energy efficient and possesses a superior R-Value!
The homeowner is absolutely thrilled with the results.
If you look closely, you can see that Primary Home Improvements injected RetroFoam in between the mortar of this brick home in order to insulate the existing walls. No demolition or intrusive process needed!
This homeowner wanted a more temperature controlled garage without tearing the walls down to the studs. Primary Home Improvements was able to achieve this goal by insulating the existing walls with RetroFoam. RetroFoam is injected in between the studs of the walls and fills up the entire cavity. Once hardened, this tripolymer foam gives a superior R-Value per inch while also sealing off any drafty areas of the wall.
