Primary Home Improvements created a comfortable and energy-efficient attic space for this homeowner in Parma, OH. Not only were all gaps and cracks air sealed, but the walls and floors were insulated with a combination of cellulose and batten insulation. This customer will also be able to utilize this attic for living or storage space and keep it protected from the outside air!
If you look closely, you can see that Primary Home Improvements injected RetroFoam in between the mortar of this brick home in order to insulate the existing walls. No demolition or intrusive process needed!
This homeowner wanted a more temperature controlled garage without tearing the walls down to the studs. Primary Home Improvements was able to achieve this goal by insulating the existing walls with RetroFoam. RetroFoam is injected in between the studs of the walls and fills up the entire cavity. Once hardened, this tripolymer foam gives a superior R-Value per inch while also sealing off any drafty areas of the wall.
This degraded, low R-Value fiberglass was extracted by the team at Primary Home Improvements in order to create a clean slate for new, dense cellulose to be installed. Extraction is important in cleaning the attic, ridding of moisture buildup in the old material, and getting rid of pest leftovers.
