Drafty
Knee walls are known to be drafty areas of the home and there was no insulation stopping them from coming in.
Old Insulation
There was some sporadic insulation on only a couple of the knee walls, which was not giving consistent coverage.
New and Improved
Installers insulated the knee walls with fiberglass batten insulation in order to seal it off from the rest of the home.
Storage Space
In addition to insulating the attic space, installers also made it possible for the customer to store their belongings in the space still.
All Walls Insulated
The attic crew made sure to attach batten insulation to all the walls of this small attic space. This created a more energy-efficient and functional area.
