Dirty, Unhealthy Attic
The existing rolled fiberglass was disintegrating, dusty and low-quality. This was causing outside air to filter into the home.
Low R-Value Insulation
R-Value is important to ensuring your home is protected from drafts. The rolled fiberglass in this attic was very low R-Value and did not resist heat flow well.
Transformed Attic
TruSoft was blown on top of the existing insulation at a high R-level and will now block air infiltration.
Hatch Cover
The David Lewis hatch cover was installed on top of the attic access door to further stop drafts from getting into the home. This lightweight, graphite infused, reflective material can be moved so the homeowner can still access the attic.
